I have been anxious to get started in this world of blogging for some time now. Finding the time to actually sit at my computer uninterupted has been a mission impossible! I have found so much help and inspiration from reading other blogs over the years. I hope to offer whatever help, support, and ideas that I can to others out there that may be dealing with similar issues in life!
We are a homeschool family of 2 children. My son is 10 and my daughter 6. My husband, who is one year older than me, works from home. We graduated highschool together although we never dated until I was graduating from college! We live within 20 min of almost all of our family (you can decide if that’s good or bad in your opinion)….we like it.

Homeschool Story 
I came to your blog to read about your garden, but I was excited to see that you’re a homeschooler! I always wanted to be homeschooled, and when I was thirteen, my mom finally let me come home. I homeschooled until the end of high school and loved it. I would have liked to do something a little more like the “unschooling” of John Holt, but even using traditional textbooks like Saxon Math, etc., it was still less boring than public school. I hope your kids like it as much as I did!
